Print Quality
The Magicard Ultima is a retransfer printer, so the design is printed onto a clear film which is then printed to the card surface. This gives a high-definition, photo-quality resolution, even on cards with uneven surfaces, making it perfect for printing outstanding quality ID cards.

The Ultima delivers full over-the-edge card coverage, meaning there is no white border left around the edge of the cards, which helps create a sleek corporate image. 

Reliability
The Magicard Ultima comes with a three-year UltraCoverPlus warranty* and includes a printer loaner service and lifetime warranty on the printhead. *Please note that the warranty cover is only available in the EU, North America and other selected territories. Elsewhere a one-year minimum limited depot warranty is standard.

Designed for high volume issuance where deadlines need to be met, the Ultima is easy to set up and incredibly straight forward to use. Everything you need comes in the box and following the quick start set-up guide will have you printing in no-time. 

Security
The Ultima offers an advanced security feature called HoloKote® which prints a secure watermark across the face of every card, the first retransfer printer to provide this. Adding a secure HoloKote® to each card means the risk of cards being cloned is significantly reduced and the benefit to the user is you can choose from 10 standard patterns of Secure HoloKote®, or create their own custom image as a watermark.

Encoding 
The Magicard Ultima has the encoding options of magnetic stripe, contact and contactless including MIFARE®, DESFire®, Pro and iClass®.

Printer Type 
The Magicard Ultima is a touch-screen retransfer ID card printer. Designs are printed onto a clear film which is then adhered to the card surface, giving long-lasting, high-quality results. As well as this, the Ultima has a new feature which makes your contact details can be added to the touch screen. This makes the process much quicker and improves convenience.

Card Types
The Magicard Ultima prints to standard CR80 credit card sized plastic cards.

Print Speed
The Ultima prints up to 100 full-colour cards per hour or 180 monochrome cards per hour.

Connectivity
The Magicard Ultima comes with USB and Ethernet connectivity as standard.

Operating Systems
Standard USB/Ethernet ports and the browser-based Printer Manager helps you integrate printers into third-party applications as well as existing systems.

This printer is compatible for use with Windows / OS X / LINUX.

Size
As retransfer printers are slightly bigger than DTC printers, the Magicard Ultima is better placed in a separate printing area rather than on a standard office desk. The Ultima weighs 16.7 kgs, and the dimensions are as follows:
