The service is available for most dye sublimation ribbons and is a straightforward and affordable way to dispose of them while maintaining your data protection responsibilities.

How much does it cost?

If you have purchased a card printer ribbon from us in the last 3 months, then this service is FREE! Just fill in the form below to get started, remembering to include your order number.

If you haven't purchased a ribbon from us in the last 3 months, you can still use the service, at a cost of just £3 + VAT per ribbon.

How does it work?

1. Fill in the Shredding Request Form (below).
2. You will receive an email detailing the cost (if any) for the service. Simply reply to the email to confirm that you are happy to proceed. If a payment is required, you will receive an invoice for the amount.
3. Post your ribbon(s) to:
   Security & Identity Solutions Ltd, 29 Alexander Road, Sebastopol, Pontypool, Torfaen, NP4 5BJ.
   We recommend a tracked postal service.
4. Once the ribbons have reached us, they will be assessed and you will quickly receive a confirmation of whether the ribbons are suitable. (If they are not, they will be returned to you.)
5. If payment is required, then kindly make your payment. Once this has been received (or if nothing is due), your ribbons will be shredded, then legally disposed of. You will receive email confirmation once this has been carried out successfully.
