TANlock® 3 - The Modular Access Control System
TANlock 3 can be customised by choosing between different exchangeable authentication modules to meet specific needs. For additional security, two-factor authentication can also be used.
Key benefits of the TANlock:
- Easy integration - even into already existing systems, through various interfaces such as LDAP, OSS, MS ActiveDirectory, Syslog and SNMP.
- No additional hardware or software needed - TANlock 3 is system-independent and can be easily linked to the existing infrastructure without additional hardware or software.
- Wide range of exchangeable modules - The five modules of the TANlock 3 can be replaced even after years of use and thus always guarantee the latest security standard.
- IP65 protection - The TANlock 3 has IP65 protection and is thus protected against dust, water and coarse particles. This makes it suitable for outdoor racks as well.
- Compatible with most cabinet systems - The TANlock 3 is designed to be mounted on all common server cabinets. Server cabinets from Rittal or Vertiv might require adapters, which we also offer.
- Possibility of two-factor authentication - The PIN + RFID and FINGERPRINT + RFID modules offer the possibility of two-factor authentication via the module and RFID technology.
Interfaces
The wide range of available interfaces - including LDAP, OSS, MS ActiveDirectory, Syslog and SNMP - greatly simplifies system integration. External control is also possible by using various APIs.
Which module is right for you?
The modules of the TANlock 3 are exchangeable in order to always be able to obtain the latest security standard. Some modules also support two-factor authentication.
All common methods of authentication can be used to identify an authorised user. Each TANlock is equipped with one of the various TAMs. This TANlock Authentication Module checks the correctly entered PIN, presented RFID card, fingerprint or hand vein and approves the requested unlocking. This way, it is possible to document GDPR conform of who gained access to sensitive data.
